It's Pumpkin Derby Time!
If you are like me, when you heard the term "Pumpkin Derby", you thought, "Say what?!" Then you followed that up with a Google search and found instructions like these.
At our October Pack meeting, we set up a single ramp for your pumpkins to roll down. Unlike Pinewood, there is no competition for speed, only distance and best in show. The rules are simple, have your pumpkin roll down the ramp and have fun making it. Over the years, we've seen a lot and we are eager to see what your Scouts come up with. Whether it be giving your pumpkin bike wheels, loading it on the back of a dump truck, making wheels part of its costume, or building a car for it. Bring forth your best decorated pumpkin!
