Welcome to Pack 3508!
Cub Scout Pack 3508 serves Scouts in grades K-5 in the Medina, OH area. Most, but not all, of the students in our Pack are from Heritage Elementary School. We are part of the Chippewa District in the Great Trail Council and are sponsored by Medina Presbyterian Church. Individual Den Meetings are held up to three times a month, dependent on the specific Den. The times/locations of the meetings are also dependent on the specific Den.
On the third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM ET, you can often find us coming together as a Pack at Medina Presbyterian Church in their Fellowship Hall. Medina Presbyterian is the big white church located at 5200 Burgundy Bay Boulevard off of 18 in Medina (across the street from University Hospital Urgent Care). The Fellowship Hall is located at the back end of the large parking lot/courtyard. This facility serves as the primary meeting location for both Pack 3508 and Troop 508.
Our goal is to foster the BSA vision of building our youth into conscientious, responsible, and productive boys and girls by instilling in them lifetime values and developing ethical character traits. We want to create an environment that fosters a sense of community while keeping the fun in scouting. As Baden Powell once said, we are building “Happy, Healthy, and Helpful Citizens.”
We are required to ensure that all our leaders are properly trained so our Scouts can be mentored in a safe environment provided by our sponsor organization. In addition, we encourage our leaders to attend regular Scout training events and monthly round tables. We are proud to have past and present leaders who are Eagle Scouts and Wood Badge trained.
Many of our Scouts go on to join Boy Scout Troop 508, also sponsored by Medina Presbyterian. It is our sincerest hope that if you or if someone you know is considering becoming involved in Scouting, you will contact our Cubmaster at cubmaster@pack3508.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
